So my dad grew up in Teddinton, and finally decided to google it. It’s less than an hour from pretty much anything you want. 46 minutes from Gatwick, 32 from Slough, 28 from Woking, 29 from the London city centre by train, 22 from Heathrow, also 22 from Earl’s Court, and only 9 minutes from Twickenham stadium. It’s even only an hour and a half from the seaside at Bournemouth. Neat.

Man, I love how goofy the UK is. Though I’m more of a Scotland guy. I really want to buy a castle there someday.

My kind of town!

I’m dreaming of moving to McGregor Iowa some day. It’s close to a largeish city but tucked away enough to be solitary.

I lived in the UK for a little over a year. It was a great experience, but I wouldn’t want to live there anymore. It’s fun to visit though, maybe like a week at a time, max.

I also lived in Italy for about the same time, I’d rather live there. As long as money isn’t an issue.

There is another Teddington, did you get the right one?

Considering he fondly remembers the Thames, Benny Hill being filmed, and day trips every week to London in the back of his dad’s Cresta Estate, I have a feeling it’s probably not the village in Gloucestershire.

If you want to be safely out of the salt belt, Lilburn GA is 30 minutes from downtown Atlanta, and has a population of around 13,000 people. Also, are you can I thinking of the same McGregor, Iowa? With the closest largeish city being Dubuque which is a little over an hour away?

Oh you have to know about the small automobile manufacturer based out of Woking. Rumor has it that they’ve been pretty good at building circuit cars, too. ;)
